LA-based rising star Keni Titus has dropped her first song of 2023 in the form of ‘if u want’. It’s a delicate, intimate track that focuses of the idea of companionship and desire. She crafts a subtle, textured sonic world filled with melody designed to house heartfelt lyrics: ‘If u want I could fit right in the gaps of your teeth. If u want cover my mouth so there’s more air to breathe.’ The DIY music video, directed by Keni herself, as well as her best friend Victoria, is a glowing, shimmering piece that shows Keni immersed in nature. ‘if u want’ is taken from her upcoming debut project, which will drop later in 2023. -Dan Peeke
